CLIL Connect 2026
CLIL Connect 2026
On 26 and 27 November 2026, the beautiful, historical city of Leiden will welcome diverse colleagues from the fields of content and language integrated learning (CLIL) and other forms of multilingual education, from Dutch-speaking contexts and beyond.
In this 3rd edition of CLIL Connect, the focus will be on ‘blurring lines’ and ‘building bridges’: between disciplines, research traditions, languages, contexts and educational approaches. We welcome high-quality contributions in the form of presentations, research papers, workshops and posters, addressing any topic relevant to CLIL or bi-/multilingual education. Given the conference theme, we particularly invite contributions representing perspectives from content teaching, and/or collaboration, for example across disciplines or contexts, or between researchers, teachers and learners. Even better: bring a colleague from a different subject, context or area of expertise, to introduce them to the CLIL community!
Whether you are…
…an expert in content, language or both,
…a (student) teacher, researcher, teacher educator, school leader, policymaker or materials designer,
…working in primary, secondary, vocational or higher education,
…involved in practice, policy or research,
…or simply interested in the evolution of education,
…CLIL Connect is a unique opportunity to connect, learn and grow across traditional disciplinary and educational boundaries.
