CLIL Connect 2026 is hosted by ICLON Leiden University Graduate School of Teaching.
Having recently celebrated its 450th anniversary, Leiden is the oldest university in the Netherlands, and currently features in the top 100 universities in most international rankings. ICLON is the university's interfaculty centre for teacher education, teacher professional development and educational research, and has been involved in CLIL since the early days of bilingual education in the Netherlands. Most prominently, it was the home of the widely-used CLIL Skills resource book, and boasts a well-established teacher education track for multilingual, multicultural and international education, the World Teachers Programme.
Thank you to the hosts who came before: the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and University Colleges Leuven Limburg. Where will we go next...?
